At our creperie, we have a story to tell.
Our Story
From 1981 ...
Catherine, her husband Francois and her sister
Lorraine could be found working on Freighters. Catherine met Francois
on her last ship the M/V Louis R Desmarais where he was working
as third mate. Catherine was chief cook on this ship for 6 years.
Cooking for a crew of 30 hungry men she perfected her recipes. Lorraine
also worked in the Galley, but never on the same ship as Catherine.
They would write to each other and sometimes meet in the same port
or wave from a distance while passing in the rivers.
When Catherine left to begin her sailing career her friends gave her a little chef doll as a going away present. Catherine and Lorraine have been collecting them ever since, you will see them displayed all around the restaurant (Francois has contributed a few too, Although he thinks that they have enough...... over 600, only half are displayed at the creperie)

From January 1995 ...
Catherine, Lorraine and Francois set out on a big journey together,
the launching of their restaurant “Creperie Catherine”
The three partners felt very comfortable in their tiny creperie, the
close quarters reminiscent of the ship. The three continue to work
together at the creperie with the help of 15 employees. Quality is
important and they strive to make each persons experience at the creperie
a memorable one. Ask for us, we are always happy to see our regular
customer and meet new ones.

Present and Future
If you do not find us working at the Creperie we are probably working
on other projects. Lorraine and Catherine started painting five
years ago, you will find some of their work in the creperie. Francois
works on his hobby farm.
During a meeting with Tremblant in 1994, it was decided that one
of the original chalets would be the perfect place for a Creperie.
The chalet was moved from the foot of the mountain to its current
resting spot in the summer of 1994. During Catherine's first visit,
the chalet was in desperate need of some work and attention, the
basement was still a dirt floor... there was a lot of work to do.
Thank goodness for Francois!

Completely renovated. 662 square feet. Place for 40.
